The Design And Implementation Of Interactive Teaching System Based On PHP Techniques

With the gradual improvement of the campus network construction, network teaching has become an important means in the 21st Century—the Cyber era. It has become an inescapable certainty for education reform and development to establish the networking learning environment and to exploit the interactive system which adapts to the requirements. The author has developed an interactive teaching system after various research and study with the anticipated purpose to establish a virtual network teaching community and achieve interactive teaching online. The system brings superiority of the internet into full play with the chief aim to achieve distance education and learning. Besides the common functions of information browsing, the communication, the use of multimedia teaching materials and management, the system also provides service functions such as on-line teaching,learning, unriddling, discussions and examinations. The Platform posses individualized teaching administration and learning interface, which provides students with timely, complete, effective learning-supporting services. Students can gain various types of text and video materials which guided the autonomic learning online, also they can communicate with teachers through the BBS, e-mail, dual video tools, what's more, they can exchange with each other freely. Therefore students can have more opportunities to participate in group discussions and other forms of cooperative learning, meanwhile, a kind of online learning environment which embodies freedom, interaction and professional characteristics has been created. The tasks of three categories of users-teachers, students and administrators for teaching, learning and management can be accomplished preferably by the system using a variety of means. Also it can complete all the functions that distance education required and meet the needs of interactive teaching so as to reach the goal-interactive, exchange, progressive. Thus it helps to guide the students to learn the correct learning method and ability actively, enhance teaching effectiveness and improve the quality of teaching.This system works in the operating platform of Win2000 + IIS 6.0 and based on Web and SQL Server database, using the PHP technology. This paper presents a summary of the system used in the development of technology, especially php technology and its characteristics, is a detailed view of the above technical design and implementation of an interactive teaching system needs analysis, system architecture and functions.
