Carbon nanotube field emission display due to its unique qualities and perfect performance is becoming one of the most significant subjects. The design and facture of carbon nanotube field emission display driving circuit are another important part of carbon nanotube field emission display system. As the fabricated technology of the display increasing maturity and the size becoming larger, the shortcoming of the substituted driving system become clearly. These disadvantages are large volume,complicated connection and large power consumption etc. So it is very important to develop a driving system for carbon nanotube field emission display.The thesis discusses a driving system based on FPGA for carbon nanotube field emission display from the architecture. The driving system includes video conversion part,data buffer part,FPGA control part and row and column driving part. The system based on FPGA can efficacious reduce the volume, easy control and reduce power consumption. The portability of the driving system is great because he row and column driving part uses IC.
