Embedded System Design is a rapidly developing field. Most of the current embedded system's software runs on different hardware platforms, and it's hard to transplant the software on different platforms. Since the product refresh cycle is becoming shorter and shorter, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of the development of embedded system to meet the market's needs. Changing the old work style, increasing the reusability of the existed design is a workable solution. In this paper I adopt the software design patterns, using patterns to sum up the experience of embedded systems hardware design and software design. In Majoy game project I utilize some methods in embedded system pattern to settle the actual problems of software and hardware encountered in the actual projects, in which the power supply module design, the hardware expansion of SCM's serial port and the process schedule representative development. Summing up the experience of the model used for these projects will not only benefit the project's future maintenance but also offer references to others.Patterns can only settle the technical problem in project development. In actual project, especially in big project there are many factors needed to be considered so a good management is needed to control the project's development and ensure the project's rapid, high-quality completion. The Rapid Object-Oriented Process for Embedded Systems (ROPES) Proces is based on the life cycle and emphasizes rapid turnover, early the correctness proof and low risk etc. In Majoy project development we use this process together with pattern design to develop the whole project successfully. In the end, this paper is about how to use ROPES in the different stages of the project development and the strategies and tools used in ROPES. We combine ROPES and the pattern design in actual project. By this method the project can be carried out in order and unnecessary repetition work can be decreased in future development. So the developers concerne their efforts on resolving key problems and as a result the entire project would be performed well.
