The improving of the information technology greatly effects on military theory in martial fields, the focus of the war that based on the network in now days is scramble for information, it's need whole operational system could be accomplished the extracting and distributing of the information in a short time, and there are high request to the reliability, airborne communication system is one of most important platform in modern war, which related the action in many aviation mission and combat mission.Airborne communication system using the open middleware technology, will greatly improved the efficiency of development and quality, decreased the reiteration and error in developing of software.This thesis is based on the upper background, and the purpose is making technology support for design and improving huge communication system platform. This thesis aims at problems in huge communication platform software, refer to situation of airborne communication system in other country, integrate the technology in our country, construct an open communication system which with high throughput, strong capacity of fault tolerance, and real-timing.The thesis studied the development trend of the military communication in mighty military country especially it in America, put forward the software configuration of huge communication platform by consider actuality in our country, researched the technology of software middleware, for the characteristic of airborne communication system, mostly studied the object oriented middleware-CORBA, analyzed the real-timing and reliability of it, after that implement the system by orbix based on the criterion of CORBA.For advanced the reliability of the airborne communication system, studied the distributed redundancy backup technology, found a model of reliability based on Master-Slave backup, analyzed the usability of the model, and expatiate the fault detection technology in our implement process.For current airborne wireless links has no ability of TCP/IP transmission, two schemes designed and one implemented, it shows that the throughput of TCP decreased some a lot, as result of high BER in airborne wireless links.
