The Design And Realization Of Middleware Based On CORBA

When the corporation is realizing informationization, departmental information systems are composed of different core technology and isomerous databases, because of different realizing technology and time. So it exist severe obstacles in communication among corporations and the issue of information isolation is becoming ever-grave. To solve the issue of isomerous information in distributed corporations and realize the aim of resource share, middleware technology is coming up and its application is become ever-wider. There are some similarities as the implementation schemes to solve the communication of isomerous platforms, and also some differences as the implementation schemes to apply in different fields. Compared with the application in medium & small businesses, there exist some problems, such as complicated functions, dear price and complex operation etc. So it is meaningful to research and discuss the accessing platform of isomerous databases.Based on above object, this paper discusses the specification,core technology of distributed objects middleware and XML technology in detail; Presents middleware architecture based on CORBA according to the need of application;Uses XML to define the communication format between applications and the middleware system. Based on that, it designs the client-side and service-side in detail and adopts the static invoke way to realize the invocation from client object to service object in order to finish accessing the remote isomerous databases.The main work of this paper is described as below:1. Analyze the specification and core technology of distributed objects middleware; discuss characters of XML,the format of interactive information and the way of parsing.2. Design the client-side of CORBA middleware system. The client-side is used to receive requirement information from outer applications and finish the invocation to service-side objects. The main research work includes: managing way of buffering queue,implementation of request information parsing and communication mechanism to CORBA service-side.3. Design the service-side of CORBA middleware system. The service-side is used to response the invocation requirement information from client-side, realize accessing isomerous databases and return results to the client-side. The main research work includes: communication mechanism to CORBA client-side and the way of accessing remote isomerous databases. 4. Realize the middleware prototype system to finish accessing remote isomerous databases and validate the above design work.5. Summarize the have-done work, and point out the work needed to further research.
