Reality TV originates from European countries and USA and soon becomes popular in China. So there are some questions that we can't help ask ourselves. These questions are those what the reality TV is produced, what the production characteristics of reality TV and how we should treat this trend.This thesis will answer these questions under the circumstance of consumerism. Based on the relationship of consumerism and the media, this thesis discusses the production means of reality TV and the production characteristics. On one hand, these production means and production characteristics give audience happiness, consume audience's feeling unconsciously on the other hand, the content of reality TV is unhealthy and the content is the same as others. All those are we should treat reasonably. |
