A Research On News Reports Related House Demolition In China Viewed From The Theory Of Media Framework

This paper applies the theory of media framework, based on the macro background of the socio-political, economic and cultural development, followed by the scientific steps: problems analyze and solve problems. It takes the demolition of housing-related news events in Southern Weekly (December 12, 2002 to June 28, 2007) as research objects, analyses the content text intensively from the following six aspects of news: the thematic framework, the source selection, the value orientation, report keynote, report forms and association framework. It aims to explore China's mainstream news media how to better report the housing demolition events, and play the transmission of information role as a bridge to further the demolition of housing system reform and socialist democratic process and to create a favorable environment of public opinion for building a socialist harmonious society. The full text is divided into four chapters:Chapter I, Clarify the research background and the purpose of the study, define the study objects and scope, introduce the main research methods briefly and build the overall framework of the study.Chapter II, Review related research literatures and results about the demolition of housing-related news events in China, on this basis, sum up their deficiencies and identify the main research direction and perspective of this study.Chapter III, Based on the analysis of the social macro-political, economic, cultural and other relevant background framework, conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis to the content text of the news about house demolition in southern weekly, With the help of "said what" and "how" these two categories, analyze the content of the news: the thematic framework, the source selection, value orientation and report forms, and after scientific statistics, through these empirical analysis, draw a reasonable inference.Chapter IV, Judge and evaluate the statistics results, draw an objective and accurate findings and conclusions, and put forward some suggestions to its future framework of the report. Finally, reflect on the inadequate and limitations of this study, offer a reference to future relevant study.
