| The reading and calculating of electricity consumption data had been based on manual manner for a long time. With the rapid increasing of electricity load, new measures such as meters equipment and data reading to end-users are popularized. The workload of data reading in power supply companies is becoming onerous. After the reconstruction of rural and urban power grid, the local decentralized manul reading system can't adapt the need of power consumption management. So, the research and application of Remote Centralized Meter Reading System is desiderated for electric power market participants.1. This study focuses on Remote Centralized Meter Reading System based on Data-compression Broadband Inter-Carrier and GPRS.2. To overcome the effect to inter-carrier communication cased by strong interfrence and attenuation, this system applies new technology of power line inter-carrier communication based on Data-compression Broadband transmission.3. This technology has also AGC (Auto Gain Control) asjustment function to revert information sent out correctly. And, other technologies such as software and hardware relay system are also used to improve the efficiency and sensitivity.4. This system achieves functions of remote data reading of transformer distict, inquiry, browsing, alarm, lines losses management, three phase balance analysis and interface to charging system. It also achieves the intergration of power consumption management information system and remote automatic metering.This system is being used in Power Supply Companies of AHEPC(Anhui Electric Power Company) for more than one year. And we get a good effect of stable running and veracious data. |
