| In the current mixed network environment with multi-vendor and multi-type equipments, there are large differences among the Network Management Interfaces (NMIs). The NMI adapter technology is introduced in order to solve the consistency problem of NMIs. After different NMIs are adapted, the Network Management System (NMS) can realize the inter-connection and inter-operation among different systems, so as to unifiedly manage and operate the managed systems with different NMIs, particularly for the Integrated NMS.The traditional interface adapter method is crude and uses the full-function-oriented interface adapter method, and an adapter at the same time deals with all interface adapter of alarm, configuration, performance, security and other functions. Redesign and reimplement an "interface adapter module" from scratch when a new managed device is accessed. So the system based on the traditional interface adapter method is not high flexibility. And its design and development cycle being so long makes its cost so high. Interface adapter maintenance is very difficult because of vendor devices' interfaces changing, upper NMS requirement's variety and other reasons.In this thesis, the PM-oriented high flexible interface adapter method is mainly researched. Firstly, introduce the traditional crude interface adapter method; from the shortcomings of its existence, the PM-oriented high flexible refined interface-adapted method and its model is put forward, in three phases of data collecting, analysis then into database and data processing, so as to finish the protocol and information model adaptation; after model analyzing, design the core modules of high flexible adapter and introduce the key technologies and methods; then verify the high flexibility of the high flexible interface adapter method, first in method level with the mobile network instance, then in implementing level with specific interface adapter instances; finally point out some cases needed to be researched further. |
