The Research And Implementation Of Network Performance Managemet System Based On The Network Health Evaluation

With the increasing complexity of network architecture,how to give a more efficiently visualization of the comprehensive management for operation state and performance of network,and provide some guidance for the current network performance optimization is the problem witch needs to solve urgently at present.At the same time,improving the SNMP based on existing polling mode in order to solve the problem of the traditional network management style,without increasing the burden on the network to improve the transmission efficiency is an important problem to solve,which is on the network management to meet the real-time.The traditional network management system uses regular timing performance data acquisition method,which has been unable to meet the needs of modern network management,so researching and optimizing the network performance management process of acquisition strategy become significant.This thesis studies a method of network data acquisition,regards the reducing additional traffic in the network management process and decreasing the impact on normal operation of network traffic as the goal,adjusts and improves acquisition strategy.Firstly the related theory of network management and development are reviewed,the current situation and network performance management are analyzed,the problem that the amount of network performance data is large,the efficiency of data acquisition is low and the evaluation method of network performance is not uniform in the current network management are pointed.According to the important network performance parameters,such as throughput,utilization rate,packet loss rate and error rate,link,the concept of network and equipment health degree are introduced,and the network health index evaluation model is established,the model can intuitively describe the performance status of network and equipment through the analysis of the health degree,witch has a certain guiding effect on network performance management.This thesis studies and proposes an adaptive acquisition method based on network health index,which can solve the problem about the acquisition method of network performance data is fixed,not flexible and other shortcomings.Based on the SMMP protocol,this thesis designs and implements the performance monitoring system based on SNMP,which is considered from themodule of performance data acquisition,performance data analysis,data management,the way to collect and analyze performance data is multi agent mode,so as to realizing the management and optimization of the network performance.Finally,the performance management system SPMS is tested,,the operation of the system is verified,it can reflect the real-time performance,health degree,fault statistics curve and other performance situation at the current network and important equipment,it has the strong application,and provides the guidance and basis for the network management network.
