Web dynamic geometry drawing plays an important role in the network distance education, particularly in the geometry distance education. Web-based intelligent dynamic geometry drawing system can facilitate meaningful mathematical learning, and promote the development of network distance geometry education.DGS (Dynamic Geometry System) always refers to the computer geometry drawing environment after the 1990s. Users can realize dynamic drawing by creating geometry elements such as points, segments, and circles, moreover the mutual geometric relations among them. The well-known DGS software contains Geometer's Sketchpad abroad, and the country's Super Sketchpad. The main problems contain: First, standardization problem, different graphical format incompatible with each other, not conducive to the exchange of data and internet search; Second, the speed and browser security issues, graphic reproduction; and intelligent operating problems. This paper aims to developing a web dynamic geometry drawing system based on SVG (scalable vector graphics).This paper first researches on the related theory and technology, mainly on dynamic geometry principles, SVG technology. SVG is a vector graphic format on the web based on XML constituted by W3C. SVG is a dynamic, data-driven and interactive graphic. I select SVG technology for web dynamic geometry drawing system research and implementation because of the standard and technical advantages of SVGOn this basis, this paper researches on design and implementation of the system. The study focuses on dynamic drawing and intelligent drawing. First, propound dynamic drawing strategies by describing graphic elements and geometric relations by SVG, and algorithms design; Second, intelligent drawing strategy study and algorithm design according to human-computer interface basic design principles, personality of the operator and related characteristics of graphics. In addition, this study also includes file operating on web pages, SVG and ZJZ format conversion problems.The system realized some basic features of dynamic geometry on web, such as dynamic drawing of points, segments, circles and other graphics; the points on the line or the circle; the nodal of two segments, or two circles or one segment and one circle; parallel lines; vertical lines. The geometric relations remain unchanged when you modify graphics. The system can provide intelligent guidance in the process of drawing. Also file operating is realized on web pages.The main characteristics of the system are: in the line with the SVG open international standards, realizing dynamic geometry drawing standardization; universal application environment, achieving dynamic: drawing in web environment; operation with smart features, realizing intelligent drawing such as nodals, parallel lines, vertical lines, with good interaction. It's proved that the system can achieve basic features of dynamic drawing through examples of operation.
