As the significant development of information and education technology,Computer Aided Instruction(CAI) has satisfied learners’ need to a large extent. However,learners’ need to Mobile-Learning is increasing along with the emergement of mobiledevice and mobile internetwork which provide more convenient and handy learningenvironment for the users. Dynamic geometry based on iOS plays a significant role inmathematics of Mobile-Learning and promotes the development of geometry educationin Mobile-Learning.Aiming at the application and research of dynamic geometry based on iOS, thispaper develops a dynamic geometry system on a mobile platform which is portable. Themain work is as follows:1. Research on dynamic geometry and the related theories, iOS developmentplatform and technology, background and significance of this subject.2. Analysis and design of the key algorithm: Plotting function graphics andmathematical formula layout algorithms are designed. Function graphics is based on theinfix expression evaluation. Monocular operators, binary operators, various mathmaticsfunctions and text variables are included in the expression evaluation algorithm. Thebinary tree form of the expression in the computing text is first generated and the layoutof the expression is done by the base line of the operator and layout norm ofmathematical symbols after traversing the binary tree of the expression.3. Design and realization of a dynamic geometry system based on iOS platform:Main functions, including basic geometry plotting, dynamic plotting(e.g. translation,measurement, animation and path of the point), computing text and function graphicwhich extend the dynamic nature, and file manipulation are realized.Test results of the dynamic geometry in the real machine indicate its highperformance. Dynamic geometry based on iOS has mobility and the character ofMobile-Learning. Improvement of the mathematical expression evaluation algorithmwhich is used to plot function graphics enhancs the computing performance. Dynamicnature of the dynamic geometry is extented to the computing text variables and function graphics, which are the attemps and explorations of the Mobile-Learning.
