Dynamic geometry is the study of dynamic geometric mapping in both theoretical and applied areas. As a presentation tool of geometry, dynamic geometry is widely applied in the field of teaching and instruction. With the development of network and information technology, CSCL supported by computers, is integrated with cooperative learning on the basis of CSCW supported by computers, and is now an effective learning method. It meets the need of learners who want to learn geometry by distant collaboration to develop dynamic geometry software which supports distant collaboration.While the distant collaborative function of the existing dynamic geometric software is rather limited, based on the theory and technology of CSCW, this dissertation aims at building a dynamic geometric software system which is concurrency cooperative, natural interactive, effective and practical. The author of this paper has done the following work:1. A model for dynamic geometric system which combines concurrency collaboration and asynchronous collaboration was developed.2. After an intensive research on the key technologies of collaborative software such as the system structure and concurrency control, a way to realize dynamic geometry was found.3. A dynamic geometric prototype system supporting concurrency collaboration was designed and realized.It was proved by experiments that the prototype system developed by the author of this paper contained the basic functions of distant collaboration, which can meet the requirements of distant geometric learners. The research done by the author explored the way to improve dynamic geometric teaching software, and provided an effective learning tool for collaborative study and practice with the computer support.
