Because the insufficiencies of theory analysis and experiment research, along with the deepening and developing vibration mill research, virtual prototype as vibration mill design and research tool will play an increasingly important role.This thesis analyses the essential theories, basic methods, and basic skills of Virtual Prototype Technology, and researches how to use the Virtual Prototype Technology skill in the products design and test simulation. With the help of the ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System) which is large-scale virtual product software. Base on dynamics theory, we build parameterized simulation model of horizontal vibration mill and use sliders to control parameters. Base on this model, we simulate vibration mill in the simulation surrounding, and get some experiment results. Main simulation research include that the stability of vibration mill during start-up; the relationship between the degree of swing and parameters such as the location of support spring and the amplitude of the mill; the impact of swing on the life of support spring and grinding efficiency; some measures to reduction swinging; the effect of mediums on vibration mill's performance; the feasibility of improve the efficiency and milling quality by control parameters; the parameters control way for vibration mill, etc. Base on the above research, we get some important conclusion, for example, through controlling the time spending on start-up phase will benefits startup and prolong the life of life vibration mill; through extending the distance of support springs can reduce the degree of swing and improve the efficiency of milling.Practice indicate, modeling based on feature and Virtual Prototyping Technology are used in deeply studying working mechanism of vibration mill, as better resolved the some technique problem of designing vibration mill .At the same time, the idea and means of studying have leading meaning and practicality value to research and develop excellent mechanical product.
