Research Of Workflow Key Technology Based On Active XML

As the key technology of BPR(Business Process Reengineering), workflow technology has attracted more and more attention in manufacturing field. Process integration using workflow technology provides an efficient approach to implement enterprise application integration flexibly. As software system of creating, executing and managing workflow, the workflow management system has a broad market prospect and wide application fields.Workflow monitoring and administration is an important component of the workflow management system, it can invigilate the executive state of the workflow throughout the organization, and afford a series of management functions to achieve some administration in security, process control, authority operation and so on.On basis of analyzing the self problem of existed workflow and the limitation of factual application, we research the designing and realization technology of workflow monitoring and administration combined with the Web Services technology and XML technology.Firstly, summaring the development and research status of workflow technique existing now, we presented the study contents and purposes of this thesis.Secondly, the distributing workflow technology is introduced. On basis of analyzing the limitation of distributed technique (DCOM, CORBA, Java/RMI), we proposed distributing workflow technology based on Web Services. The purpose of using Web Services is to make the application be seamlessly integrated on the network without considering the programming language and run environment. At the same time, we make a detail introduction about each ingredient of the Workflow Management System.Thirdly, the paper introduces the general concept of the workflow monitoring and administration system, describes the position and role in the workflow management system of workflow monitoring system, proposes the framework of workflow monitoring system based on Web Services/XML, shows the compositions,functions and the rationale of this system which includs monitoring content, monitoring methods and monitoring strategies. Simultaneously, it gives out the detailed elaboration of every core module.Finally, this paper accomplishes the functions of workflow monitoring system under Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005 with C# language. It analyses the workflow monitoring and administration application, and carrys out the performance test with the Safe Producing Management System which is developed by some electric power bureau.
