With the rapid development of the city construction, Central heating system will expand constantly. For heating enterprises, more and more important problem is how to control effectively thermal equilibrium state of heat network, to improve the quality of heating and to reduce energy consumption. This paper gives a study of New Heating Network Monitoring System based on wide area network, it takes heating network in Donghe District in Baotou as a background. This paper includes:1. This paper researches implementation steps and security assurances of remote control technology based on wide area network, it proposes broadband Internet access style based on ADSL to realize remote data communications;2. This paper use of embedded system to complete the engineering design of data acquisition control unit in thermal stations of New Heating Network Monitoring System based on wide area network;3. In view of Heating Network has nonlinearity, hysteresis and strong coupling, this paper gives using the theory of fuzzy to control thermal equilibrium state and gives the design method of the controller. It can achieve automatic adjustment of Heating Network thermal equilibrium state.New Heating Network Monitoring System based on wide area network consists of monitoring centre, communication network and data acquisition control unit in thermal stations. Which communication quality indirectly influences or restricts the control effect of heating network. The Internet Access Based on ADSL that using the asymmetric transfer technology and VPN realizes the condition detection and control signals of heating network in the high-speed, reliable transmission. The communication mode is convenient, strong currency and suitable for a wider geographical scope of the multi-node access, it provides efficient communication link for remote control, remote data acquisition, etc. It has important application value.Embedded system design is emerging hot spots in computer application areas, it has advantages of low cost, high Real-time, easy to deal with complex multi-task and so on. This paper focuses on the hardware and software design of control nodes using embedded systems; discusses the key technologies to ensure stable and reliable operation of the system and heat balance adjustment. The subject has opened a new research direction for operation and monitoring of Heating Network. It can be used for heating, water supply and gas pipeline network, and can be used oil, chemicals and other remote control of industrial areas.
