With the development of science and technology, Heating Network Monitoring Systemhas been got a lot of promotion and application in the northern cities. Currently, commercialHeating Network Monitoring System use the fieldbus as the underlying communicationprotocol, compared with fieldbus industrial Ethernet has a high-speed, and high reliability,represents the latest technology trends. In this paper, research one kind of the real-timeindustrial Ethernet protocols based on Powerlink, use STM32MCU design and implement aPowerlink master and slave control unit, and apply it to the Heating Network MonitoringSystem. Powerlink has the advantages of high reliability, real-time, low-cost and easy torealize the distributed control. It makes a useful exploration in Industrial Ethernet applicationand promotion to the thermal station monitoring system.The thesis first introduced the concept of the development process of Heating NetworkMonitoring Systems and industrial Ethernet, Secondly, Analyzes the principle Powerlinkprotocol stack, After analyzing the overall structure of the Heating Network Monitoring System,designing the overall architecture of Heating Network Monitoring System based on Powerlink.The system includes monitoring center and the thermal station control unit, the thermal stationcontrol unit includes master and slave nodes. Control system design including the master, slaveHardware and software design, software design, which includes Powerlink protocol stacktransplant And Heating Network Monitoring application design. Master and slave controllers allachieved using STM32F407VGT6, Data transfer between master and slave is achieved throughPowerlink, use the master node to complete the task scheduling polling and otherrelated functions from nodes, slave node collects temperature, pressure and other signals fromthe sensor and transmits them through the object dictionary to the master controller. Heatingnetwork monitoring system designed in this paper based on Powerlink, tests under laboratoryconditions, including the master, slave and composed of an experimental system monitoringcenter, the results show, the system can achieve response time of less than5ms, jitter of lessthan2μs IO switching control, and can collect temperature, pressure and other heating pipe network data, provide a viable solution for real-time monitoring using Ethernet, successfullyextend Powerlink to the Heating Network Monitoring fields.
