The appearance and spread of VXIbus indicate test and instruments coming intoa bread-new moment. Data acquisition module based on VXIbus is an important partto set up a test system. If the interface circuit adopts A16/D16 mode, then the systemonly assign 64 bytes register address space to a module. It needs more address spaceto solve the big capability storage in successive data acquisition system. Of course,the solution can adopt FIFO as data bu?er, while this will increase the cost of system.Aiming at above instance, this paper provides successive data acquisition module designbased on VXIbus A24/D16.Adopting VXIbus, data acquisition and CPLD technology, the paper realize soft-ware and hardware design of data acquisition module design based on VXIbus A24/D16.For the hardware design, this paper particularly introduces the A24/D16 interface cir-cuit register based, data acquisition control circuit, VXIbus interrupt circuit, datastorage circuit and so on. The design scheme and implement are presented in details.For the software design, Instrument drivers, application, soft panel according with VPPare presented. Finally the developed module is validated and and works well.The testing result indicates that the module can achieve multi-channel signal suc-cessive data acquisition with the highest sampling frequency 500KHz. And the modulecapability carries anticipate target. It can be used in building testing system success-fully.
