The Design Of Embedded Home Network Monitor System Based On ARM

With the development of embedded technology, embedded system has extended application gradually in various fields, such as controlling machine in industry, automobile electronic equipment, mobile communication device, PDA, GPS satellite positioning system, home information apparatus,it has been a mainstream technology in information technology today,and displayed pivotal function in national economy.Because of popularization of information technology,there are more and more computers, information electrical apparatus and communication terminals in our home,but we manage them more and more difficult.How to let them display more function,let our lives convenient and intellective,and how to connect and harmonize each other,which have been the important questions in the lives and work today.The questions bring on home network,now the technology of home network is a issue in many IT companies.In the paper,we analyze development of home network and home information apparatus,and design a home network monitor system in the principle of simpleness and practicality.The system is used to monitor home information apparatus based on ARM7 and uClinux,and Samsung S3C44B0X of ARM7 is the hardware development board and uClinux is the embedded operating system.Users can know the state of home information apparatus,control home information apparatus with the system,so that users are able to mange home information apparatus conveniently.In the system,there are three parts which are web server,home network server and home network.It realizes many kinds of function which are controling home information apparatus, inquiring state, reporting state, registration,cancle and unifying on-off. In the design,we constitute the home network with RS485 bus type network which is easy and cheap,and the hardware is ARM7 development board whose cubage is small.The home network protocol is also easy and convenient.Because the system has registration and cancel function,the home network system can know alteration of home information apparatus at any moment.In a word,the home network monitor system, which is small,easy,cheap,multi-purpose and convenient,is suitable to populace's lives,also, it has very high practicable value.
