Research And Design Of Bluetooth Home Control Network

At present, the promotion of Internet-based Home Control Network(HCN) has some limit factors, such as the cost, flexibility, etc. Meanwhile, the situation that the traditional home equipments are the principal part in the home has produced a certain resistance in the design of HCN. Therefore, to solve these issues will be conducive to promote the pace of home networks. In view of HCN, the paper uses Bluetooth technology to set up Wireless HCN for meeting the demand of network control.According to the control demand and geographical distribution of home appliances, the research on ARM development methods and Home Network Controller is done on the basis of the theory and methods for establishing HCN. Compared with the typical short-range wireless communication technologies in the development and cost, Bluetooth has the advantages in home or industrial control fields with small size, low power consumption, open standard and so on. So a distributed model for Bluetooth HCN is constituted, which includes embedded ARM Home Controller as the hinge of HCN and appliances as control objects.Through analyzing Bluetooth protocol and summing up the role and function for each level agreements, it lays the foundation for home network design. In the paper, JX44B0-3 embedded system adopting S3C44B0X as its core component is used as the hardware development platform. The Boa Web Server is transplanted to achieve the dynamic interactive communication between browser and the system by CGI technology. With the application of Multiprocess/Multithread mechanism in uClinux, a resident program is constructed to deal with the embedded Web control information, which can further improve the information processing efficiency. Some effective measures are put forward, such as Bluetooth Security at Link Level, user authority management based on Web Cookie, and a control data frame with check code to solve mainly problems of security and user operation rationality in the network. Meanwhile, the network has designed the function for network data communication, which can further used in the remote control system.The test proves that Bluetooth HCN has achieved the desired requirements in the performance of control ability, real-time character, and security demand. It is an effective attempt in the application of Wireless HCN.
