Home Network Core Soc Platform

The target of home networking study is to dispose, manage, transmit and store information; to connect and integrate computing devices, controlling devices and communication devices. But now, there isn't a universal standard for home networking, many technology problems need to be more solved.In allusion to the demanding of realizing information transmission, status reading and controlling in home networking, and on the basis of the controlling network of home electronic devices, the "863" project—"the SoC Platform of Home Networking Center" will realize the SoC platform of home gateway chip and consumer electronic devices' controlling chip, implement the reconfiguration of the SoC platform.The study of this paper is one of subjects of the "863" project. In this paper, according to analyzing the emergence of home networking and home gateway technology, the background of the study is illustrated; the actuality and trend are analyzed; based on the several wireless networking technologies' comparison, the meaning of Bluetooth is nailed down; the holistic realization method of home gateway is introduced. Aim to implementing wireless interface of SoC platform, the architecture of Bluetooth protocol stack, HCI composing and information format through it are particularly described; based on this, the method of interface designing and software implementation are illustrated. In allusion to the conformance requirement of protocol realization, the project of Bluetooth BU conformance protocol testing is brought forward; and the testing cases and testing flow are given.Finally the work in this paper is summarized; and the problems among the work unsolved are analyzed; the prospect is discussed.
