Along with the rapid development of industry, people have more demands on the multiprocessor's performance.However, because of the constraints of production technology, traditional work are facing serious obstacles through increaseing the frequency of processor for performance. The high frequency CPU's power consumption and heat is increasing. The introduction of multi-processor is the most effective method to improve the processor's performance.The key problem of multiprocessor system is communication and sharing of resources. This paper presents five solutions of communication and sharing resources between multiprocessors. Each solution is researched and development in Altera's CycloneII board, the multiprocessor and communication have been satisfactorily resolved. The paper presents five solutions's areas of application and performance advantages.Finally, in accordance with the results of the various solutions, because the mutex solution is for the large number of data exchange between multiprocessor, the mutex solution is choosen as a high-speed data acquisition system platform based on soft core NiosII. 3 NiosII softcores are for different data acquisition tasks and parallel. So the speed of data acquisition is increased greatly.The external circuit is given and GPRS terminal module is designed.GPRS network is applied to data collection, using the method which embedded GPRS module dial-up, system configuration and the realization of AT commands are detailed deeply. The dial-up procedures of GPRS module is completed. Research on the international point-to-point (PPP) protocol, reveal the essence of the system functions of PPP connections and components of the communications system for selection, process flow diagram is given dial-up and specific procedures, completed the GPRS network set-up and data transmission. FPGA is powerful, less investment and short cycle of the development, NiosII is high performance, low cost, configuration, easy to use. NiosII multiprocessors is easy to implement in FPGA, and multicore communications have lots of the solutions. I believe in the future lots of systems will use it.
