The Research On The Housed Books Of ZhengZhenduo

The thesis is to research all the books housed by Zheng Zhenduo. It refers to all kinds of literature concerned and special attentions are given to the interpretation of the works created by him. It has made a systematic and deep research into his housed books by means of comparison and observation on the spot under the academic foundation by the preceding scholars. It divides into six parts, including the cause of housing books, the introduction of his housed books, the sources and types of housed books, the edition value of housed book, the thought in housing book, and the influence of housed books. It reveals that his patriotism was cultured by his family environment and his special times, and it was under such feeling that he took all his efforts and even risked his life to keep the literature of his mother country. His passion for literature stimulated him to collect large amount of books for research and application. Because of his emphasis on the edition, the books he housed are of great edition value. It was him who initiated the collection of picture editions, And it was him with his broad horizons, who criticized the traditional idea in which the Song and Yuan Edition(宋元版) was favored and who realized that the cultural material heritage is irreproduceable and tried his best to collected lots of block-printed edition in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty and the works created by them in that times, which has contributed a lot to the cultural heritage preservation. Such ideas can act as an enlightened light for the preservation of cultural heritage and construction of socialist culture, and this is the significance of this thesis.
