On The Issues Of Selecting Books Of Academic Libraries Based On Fusion Publishing Of P-Books And E-Books

With the rapid development of e-book technology and e-reading,the publication of e-books are increasingly valued by everyone.The coexistence and integration of paper books and e-books have become an irreversible trend.Under the circumstance of paper-electric fusion publishing,book selection in academy library facing new challenges brought by the changes of policy environment,market environment,user environment and environment inside the library.Based on the theories of system theory,game theory,cost-benefit theory and related literature acquisitioning theory,this article uses the methods of interview,questionnaire survey and literature research to study the library book selection attitude and practice As well as the user's attitude and behavior of book selection from the two perspectives of library and user.The author found the difficulties of library selection under the combined effect of the external environment and the internal environment of the library,and obtained the real feedback from the user on the attitude of book selection and resource requirements at the present stage.Through the comparison,analysis and conclusion of the survey results,it is found that under the background of paper-electric fusion publishing,academic library book selection facing problems and challenges from external or internal issues such as imperfect publishing market,unreasonable evaluation index,division of purchasing department and unequal distribution of collection resources.Then,the article probes into the optimization strategies of the library book selection from the perspectives of'national policies,the book market and the library selection mechanism which based on the analysis of the book selection problem.The purpose of this article is to look into the current situation of academy library book selection of books under the environment of paper book and Electric Book fusion,to find out the problems and obstacles in the selection of books in academy libraries,and to provide reference for the library to change the mechanism of selecting books and adapt to the trend of paper book and Electric Book fusion.
