The data warehouse technique and online analytical processing (OLAP) technique and data mining technique can manage the amount of sea data availably, and discover the worthy knowledge from it, to improve information utilization. The scientific statistics and analysis using these techniques to the disease case is the main basis of the hospital graveness decision and the medical science development. It is a necessary choose for the informative development of hospital that the decision support technique has a application on the statistics and analysis of the disease case.In this paper, the major work is as follows: Firstly, it has a succinct summary and comment on the research of decision support system for the statistics and analysis of disease case for domestic and international. Secondly, it demonstrated the necessity of creating the decision support system of the statistics and analysis of disease case, passing to analyze existing problem in it. Thirdly, it discusses the concepts and contents of Data Warehouse, OLAP and Data Mining in detail. Fourthly, gives the research and application for the analysis of the Diagnosis of the state of illnesses in hospital. The central idea is to clean the complicated data through data warehouse, and then utilize uniquely multidimensional way of online analytical process to analyze data which makes user known the history and present situation from different dimensions, and finally make use of data mining to excavate potential pattern automatically and find right decision.The decision subject of the system is the analysis of the clinic quality of illnesses. Making particularly design of the physical model and logical model of the data warehouse, building the clinic quality analysis of illnesses multi-dimension data set with time, disease, sex, age, dept, charge type, admission condition, diagnose comparison group, diagnose correspondence, treat result, etc. about eleven dimensions, and treat people, treat days, admission times, average treat days, the composing of diseases, the rate of recovery, the rate of death, the rate of diagnose correspondence, etc. about nine measurements. Connecting the SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services with Pivot Table, make on-line analysis processing from the clinic quality analysis of illnesses aspect. Constructing diagnosis artificial neural network data mining model and treat method decision tree data mining model.The system can analyze the composing of diseases, can inquire about clinic quality index of different time, depts and diseases, and make latent tendency analysis of them, these will do great help to the analysis of the clinic quality and the natural law of diseases, then the hospital administrators can take management measures, improving the efficiency and quality of the hospital.
