Research On Drug Analysis And Decision Support System

With the rapid development of the Internet and information industry in recent years, big data is subjected to more and more attention. For the medical industry, the massive data which is generated and accumulated from the daily operations often contains a lot of critical information. Accessing information from the massive data through data analysis and data mining has become the essential management approach for hospital managers to adapt the modern trend and improve management and efficiency and real-time control of dynamic hospital management. As an important part of hospital business, drug data analysis can be a significant decision support for managers. Based on the above, a research program for hospital drug data analysis was proposed. The thesis designed and implemented a set of hospital data analysis and decision support system. This system can provide adequate information support for the daily hospital management and decision-making.Based on the careful analysis of hospital business processes and functional requirements, the thesis focus on the analysis of drug data, and conduct in-depth study on hospital medicines data analysis and decision support system. To begin with, the author proposes the overall architecture model of hospital data analysis and decision support system based on data warehouse technology, online analytical processing technology and data mining technology. Then, the thesis describes the modeling process of data warehouse and implementations of multidimensional analysis and the time series forecasting model for data forecasting in details. In the main time, the thesis also describes the functional design and realization of drugs modules. Finally, the author discusses the problems in the system development process and presents the corresponding solutions.Based on the historical data accumulated from related hospital information system and relying on the medical business logic, the hospital data analysis and decision support system shows the data analysis and forecasting results in visual forms like charts, and provide the underlying information of data for the users. The system has already been implemented and run well in hospital, greatly improved data management and decision-making level of the hospital.
