With the rapid development of information technology in the world, all kinds of informationization technology tools are continuously applied in enterprises and institutions, and informationization technology has greatly improved the production and office efficiency of enterprises and institutions. Modern information technologies such as data warehouse (DW), data mining (DM), online analytical processing (OLAP), and decision support system (DSS) are applied to collect, sort out and analyze a large number of structured and unstructured business data and information generated in the processes of enterprises'operation, which helps enterprises to make correct decisions, take effective business actions, optimize business procedures and raise the overall business performance. With this tools, enterprises can efficiently operate, make correct decisions, quickly respond in a commercial environment of increasingly changeable market, intense competition, complicated organization and large scale, so as to achieve the conversion from data to information, from information to knowledge, and from knowledge to profit. Business intelligence is an epoch-making product, providing effective knowledge management and intelligent decision analysis. Business intelligence presents information in an effective, quick and visual way to decision makers and pushes the enterprises towards the leading enterprises.This essay makes a study based on ORACLE BI system of the company, presents requirements analysis, requirements design, construction of ETL data extraction, construction of BI analysis dimensions as well as final application, and demonstrates the process of project customization. System data design is sourced from ERP system of the company, and ORACLE database serves as knowledge management database, managing the resource data and target data. This highly efficient, stable, powerful, and reliable database fulfills recent requirements for developments.ETL data extraction software, the most popular and stable software at present, is applied for system design. This software is of high compatibility, high integration, strong functions, friendly interface and stable database interlinks. Moreover, ORACLE's automatic integrative software"Administration"is introduced in dimensions design.Customization centers around core analysis, based on actual situation of the company and specific analytical requirements of each field.System provides simple operation procedure, multi-types of analytical data and B/S communication mode. Users can build their own analysis center based on specific requirements.
