The Framing Analysis On The Paper Media How To Report New Socialist Countryside

On February 21,2006,the promulgation of Several Suggestions of CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Promoting the Construction of a New Socialist Countryside indicates the start of the construction of a new socialist countryside, which means that a revolution,coordinating and promoting the construction of the countryside economy,politics,culture,society and the CPC,takes place in China's enormous countryside.When developing rapidly on the right track,the construction of a new socialist countryside with a historic consequence attracts many scholars' attention including those in the news transmission field.This paper,based on the frame theory,employs content analysis,interview analysis and literature analysis to study comprehensively and systematically on People's Daily—new socialist countryside weekly,The Farmer's Daily Special—new socialist countryside construction and Southern weekly.We find through research that the new socialist countryside report frame in China's papers as a whole has strong integrality and obvious themes.However,the frame made by information from governments of all levels is in line with the above-said frame,which is a major obstacle for the development of the frame as a whole.At the same time,different report frames focus on different issues under this big frame of China's papers.The construction of a new socialist countryside is a long journey,so are its reports.Therefore,this paper suggests in the end that scholars can do vertical researches from now on to study the performance of new socialist countryside reports frame in different periods.
