Electromagnetic induction heating is a new type of heating technology. It has incomparable superiority compared with thermal electric filament technology, far infrared heating technology and microwave heating technology. Electromagnetic Oven using electromagnetic induction heating technology has been more and more applied in hotels, restaurants, canteens units with its great advantages of highly efficient, energy-saving, environmental protection and development potential.This paper introduces the basic principles of induction heating, and analysis the resonant tank road and topology of series resonant induction heating power. The main circuit is composed of a non-controlled rectifier and a single-phase full-bridge IGBT inverter circuit to regulate the frequency and power. The design of experimental device has been completed, including power circuit, control circuit, IGBT snubber circuit, sampling circuit, protecting circuit and driving circuit. Its software has been programmed and debugged on the DSP hardware platform as its control core.Finally, the experimental results show that the output waveform can meet the control demand.
