Induction heating power that heats workpiese by whirling current has been usedwidely in industrial areas. In traditional method which uses analog control circuit,some disadvantages such as difficult debugging and aging component, areunavoidable. With the development of the power electronic technology and intelligentchip, researchers gradually dedicate to the digital design of induction heating powerbased on the intelligent chips since it has a lot of advantages such as agility to design,convenient to amend and easy to realize.Traditional voltage-current double closed loop control satisfies the inductionheating power supply to a certain extent, but it seriously limits the electric current andvoltage, resulting in the phenomenon that the output is much smaller than the ratedpower. This dissertation applys a novel three-tier control strategy to enable theinduction heating power supply has a constant power output, allows reducing the heatloss and improving the power efficiency in practice. Based on the TMS320F240DSP,this dissertation designs the hardware and develops C language program to digitallydesign the induction heating power supply. In addition, this dissertation studys thetechnology of soft-switching in induction heating power supply through theemulations in the software of PSPICE, which allows digital designing high-powerinduction heating power in the future.The slab finite element method (FEM) model is built on the basis ofelectromagnetic and thermal field FEM analysis. The practical induction-heatingquenching process is simulated by ANSYS coupling calculations. Consideringparameters along with temperature changing, the calculation results are validated andanalyzed from many aspects such as temperature and power. The results show that theANSYS simulation has the instruction significance for the actual project. Furthermore,these can provide some references for the digital design of induction heating power.
