For the impact on capacity compression for the iron and steel industry by national policy,the iron and steel enterprises and downstream manufacturing show market downturn condition,and this industry is facing the transformation from quantity to quality as a whole.Therefore,the development function of electromagnetic metallurgy appears gradually.In recent years,the development of continuous casting technology turns up the constant temperature casting of low over heat degree plays an important role in improving billet quality and stabling the operation.While,controlling the tundish steel liquid temperature and overheat degree is the most effective way to increase productivity,improve solidification organization and quality of products.But,during the whole casting,the tundish has heat loss in different degree in abnormal casting period,especially at the casting beginning,steel ladle exchange and the end of casting,which has largely temperature drop unavoidably.For this reason,to seek for external heat resource to compensate the steel liquid temperature in tundish,to precisely control the best over heat degree,to make the steel liquid temperature flowing into mould stable,are more and more stressed by people.The tundish electromagnetic induction and heating device is exactly the key to resolve this problem in steel and iron industry,its supported high voltage medium frequency power supply system is the energy guarantee for realizing the induction and heating to steel liquid.The first chapter introduces the historical background and developing trend of steel electromagnetic metallurgy,points to the high power medium frequency induction heating power supply can improve the quality of steel;Then the second chapter introduced the tundish electromagnetic induction heating equipment,including the tundish electromagnetic induction heater,composite cooling system,high pressure medium frequency power supply and remote dynamic monitoring system,it analysis cascade topology structure and it's advantage,and design the cell box control circuit and IGBT drive dead zone circuit;In this paper,the third chapter focuses on analysis and design of power unit case of system,analysis the main circuit topology structure,control system design,hardware circuit design and unit box thyristor bypass circuit design,etc.;In this paper,the fourth chapter introduces the hardware circuit;In this paper,the fifth chapter introduces the whole software function and code of system;In this paper,the sixth chapter mainly expounds the application effect of intermediate frequency power supply system in steel plant.Finally,for the practical application effect of steel,the high pressure high-power induction heating medium frequency power supply system has great practical value.
