Research And Apiliation Of OPC Technology Used In Units Monitoring System

OPC(OLE for Process Control),which is application of Microsoft's OLE(Object Linking and Embedding)technology in process control system, provides a unified standard for the development in industrial automation software. The aim of OPC is to provide a standard mechanism for communicating with numerous data sources. OPC technology makes system integration easier.The Paper takes the background of the Monitoring system and the water conservation profession. Union the design and realization of Ti'Shi pumping station unit supervisory system, having studied the unit supervisory system principle, the designed and the realization which based on the OPC technology.In this irrigation district pumping station supervision system, transfer protocols are different between equipments. To resolve this problem, this thesis introduces OPC technology into the system, discusses irrigation district pumping station supervision system base on OPC in order to make system integration easier with advanced computer software technology.Firstly, this thesis discusses COM fundamental knowledge, such as COM object, COM interface, COM connectable object and so on. Secondly, this thesis studies OPC technology base on COM. On the basis of discussing OPC fundamental knowledge, this thesis discusses OPC data access methods, which is the base of OPC asynchronous communication, discusses OPC browsing address space methods, which is easier to check items in OPC server. Thirdly, according to the system requirements, designing system particularly and giving resolvion schemes of system. Finally, on the basis of analyzing data interaction of the system, this paper raises the framework of monitoring system based on OPC, and gives implementation of some modules including OPC module and communication module.
