Nowadays, Temperature Monitoring System plays an important role in many industies, so that more and more Monitoring Systems have been appearing and providered more and more feature-rich communication services. These systems are sold to users with the hardware. With the development of some fields of industrial control, Temperature Monitoring System will be widely used and is growing up day after day.To determine the functional structure of the Temperature Monitoring System software, this thesis analyzes a variety of popular monitoring software. Based on these, we put forward a kind of different system architecture.This system architecture is divided into two parts, sub-sation and central station.both parts become an independent software. Sub-station and slave computer communicate and exchange data through serial communication. Sub-station and central station communicate and exchange data through network. So this architecture is a good combination of serial communication and network, and the function also been upgraded.Around the basic functions of system communication, we design specific communication architecture for serial communicatioin and network communication. In order to ensure communication's efficiency, as well as scalability.This solution greatly improved the server's processing power and response speed.It paves the way for future functionality such as file transfer, etc.Because of the temperature monitoring system presented to the user is always the user terminals, in this environment, the user terminal interface user-friendly design is also very obvious occupy an important position. Therefore, the monitoring system client software development and design have also become an important component of this thesis. Since the introduction of self-drawn controls became a bright spot of this thesis.For the design of communication framework,this thesis has designed a communication protocol for PC and slaver computer,sub-stations and central station communications,and do the mathematical analysis and simulation for the bit error rate.We design network communication and serial communication coexist system architecture through multi-threading technology.We adopt hardware of softdog to enhance the system's security,it also play a role of identity authenrication at the same time.Finally,using TCP protocol to penetrate NAT for network communication.Finally, through researching the temperature monitoring system, we have known the development of it and pointed out some main questions to be settled urgently.
