Research And Application Of Workflow In OA System

Workflow technology implements the automation of business flow. Workflow engine is the hard core of workflow management system, the dispatcher of tasks and distributor of resources in a system. Recently, the workflow technology is applied to office automation system more and more frequently. It is worthy of researching on the workflow engine.In the paper, a series of regulations put forward by WfMC are discussed, many schemes of workflow engine are analyzed, and a design of workflow engine which is well-structured and easily-deployed is given, according the requirements of the OA system in Zhuozi electric power corporation. The most important of all, the technology and arithmetic in implementing the workflow engine is discussed and the design is tested by an example, the result of which indicates that the flow steps can be customized flexibly by the engine and the design is easily-deployed, which performs as expect.
