Design And Implementation Of Smart Home Gateway Based On Internet And GSM

According to the demand of smart, network control and less wiring for moderm homesystem,this paper designed a new smart home system based on Internet and GSM technology. Inthe comparative analysis of similar smart home gateway system, based on comparative analysisof current domestic and similar systems,the paper proposed the whole design plan of ARM basedgateway system using embedded system technology,embedded Ethernet transmission technology,ZigBee wireless sensor network technology and GSM wireless communications technology.thegateway system is used to transform protocols between Zigbee and TCP/IP,GSM,it realizes theinter-connecting between Zigbee network and Internet,mobile communication network.This paper describes the structure of the whole system and the corresponding design ofhardware and software.In addition,the paper described transplantation of the Ethernetcommunications protocol stack in detail,realization of the GSM in the embedded platform andthe construction of Zigbee star network.the gateway system builds a platform to controllinghousehold electrical equipment by the Internet or mobile phone from two aspects of hardwareand software.After a test, smart home gateway system has good stability and practicality.master of thehouse can monitor the electrical equipment or get environmental parameters through the Internetor mobile phone.the results showed that the embedded gateway could complete the protocolconversion and achieve the desired design goals.
