Research And Application Of Software Development Group Awareness

Software development process is group engineering, espically in the development of large complex system need many people to collaborate. CSCW (Computer Support Cooperative Work) is a group work together in the Internet to finish a common task. For further research an application, there are a series of technoical problems, such as group awareness is the main one.Only if group awareness is resolved, the software development application environment on CSCW could be established steadily; then, the application system could work normally.This dissertation is focused on group awareness in software development. On the basis of summarization and analysis of the findings of group awareness , analysis the characteristic of the software development group awareness, a software development group awareness model has been made.This model is made up of four part which is awareness objects,awareness information,awareness disposing and awareness internests. On the basis of software development group awareness model, we promote a awareness dispose method which is use Agent technology, we also design the awareness disposing Agent structure of the software development group awareness,which has awareness information capture Agent,awarenss information filtrate Agent and awareness information dispose Agent. Later, we discuss the two key technologies in the dispose process of software development group awareness: capturing the awareness internests of the developer and awareness filtrate technology. Lastly, implements the main function of Software Development Group Awareness Platform prototype system based on the technologies and tools of J2EE and Grasshopper, and applies it in the project development process of software engingeering laboratory in HeiFei University of Technology.
