The Design And Research Of Stream Media Internet Radio System Based On Embedded Linux

The dissertation studies and designs the stream media Internet Radio based on embedded Linux,which mostly benefits many ordinary families especially the young and the old because they could not get used to the PC, but they can also enjoy the Internet,digital media and compute by Internet Radio. The system is composed of the 32-bit microcontroller with high performance—R8610,embedded Linux operation and embedded GUI system, and integrates much function together ,such as listening Network broadcast wirelessly , real player,MP3 and media player music ,128 bit WEP protected, http protocol and alarm etc.The corresponding background is introduced at first, then the characteristic and composing are explained briefly, also how to design an embedded Linux system is specified in detail. According to performance and characteristic of the Internet Radio, the hardware and software designing case are brought out, including the realizing principle .In the hardware part, it presents the principle of the processor block, memory block and network controlling block ; in the software part, the paper first introduces the whole structure of the software designing, then emphasizes the research of the three embedded modules—file system module, WiFi driving device module and GUI module. Finally, synthetical test is performed at the point of consumers. The result indicates that the stream media Internet Radio runs steadily, the function runs perfectly and touches the expected object on the whole.One innovation in this thema is brought WiFi technology into Internet Radio system, which also need to pefect. The most reason is that transmission corresponding impaired and safey function is more weakened than Bluetooth, but the data can be transmitted more quickly and the speed can reach as 11Mbps. This just coheres with individual and social information requirement.
