There is always having noxious gas in the area where has complex terrain, so have to carry on the real-timing monitor system while works with. However, the common gas detectors are not convenient to carry with. Therefore, the designs of Portable gas detector will be much better to solve this problem in the assignment.MSP430 Micro-controller is a new kind, high capability circuit to handle analog signals and digital signals. it is face to the new born micro-controller, the MSP430 is designed for low cost, low power consumption embedded applications.This project is concert on the control part, construction, function and technique requires of portable air detector .Base on the Low-Price, Low-power, and higher reliability, the design complete much works .The contents of project are as follows:1:MSP430 micro-controller, which is ultra-low-power and low-price, is the core of control device. It is realizes sample the data and convert them to the RAM, and finally sent to display on the LCD.2: These projects resolves the question of effective control to the system, and uses the Repeat-Sequence-of channels, meanwhile, enables the system convert and handle date with a higher rate.3: The software design that is the module structure realizes the function of AD convert's real-time detecting and handling.This device can also apply to electric meter, gas meter, and other intelligent counting control device. If this device is improved at the base of formerly device, it will possess economical and applied characteristic.
