Design And Implementation Of An Off-Site Supervision System In Bank

Off-site supervision and spot inspection are the two methods and means of banking supervision and management institutions to inspect the banking financial institutions. Off-site supervision provides important reference and necessary complement for the spot inspection. Off-site supervision refers to the banking supervision and management institutions use modern means of analysis, evaluation banking financial institutions risk profile by the various statistical data, statements and reports that submitted by the banking financial institutions. In order to make the regulatory agencies and financial institutions warn the risks more accurate and timely, strengthen internal risk control efforts of the financial institutions, it is urgently needed to design and implement a better off-site supervision system in business and technical, especially in the statistics and reporting of the reports.November 4, 2003, CBRC initiates the banking financial institutions supervision information systems - the "1104 System" - in the presidents' office meeting of the "banking financial institutions supervision information system construction" and the leading group meeting of the supervision information system construction. The system includes the reports generating, reports checking, risk analysis and risk warning and so on. The design and implementation is very important for the system. This paper introduces the general situation of the off-site supervision system of both at home and abroad, the design and implementation of the 1104 system, and then focuses on the design and implementation of the report subsystem of the system, as well as the report generation tools as JasperReport and iReport used for report generating, and the integration of these tools.The off-site supervision system (the 1104 System) in this paper has put into use in some commercial banks. It helps the operational staff to complete the banking data reporting and the banking risk analysis and risk warning efficiently and accusatively, which greatly increased the efficiency and quality of the CBRC regulatory.
