The Designing And Realization Of Report In Government Information System

With the development of information technology, report becomes more important role in governments and companies. Moreover, report design and development also becomes a key technology. Using report systems, National property management it make a big different that system platforms can centrally, uniformly, canonically and scientifically manage and star company of national property of government, can get the situation, gross and distribution of national property, can transfer lots of data to information used on special policies, can decrease uncertainty of policy and prevent national property getting lose.User-defined reports separate report style from data and provides user the abilities of custom defining to generate dynamic reports. Consequently it attracts much attention in data report tool research. This report system adopted the open source software Jasperreport, it takes the advantage of XML which is well structured, extensible, self-defining and self-describing to realize the separation of report format and data.This article introduced the technology of J2EE, described Struts framework, MVC model, the mechanism of Struts MVC and the workflow of Struts as well. Because the report system is based on an asset management system, so it also introduced the whole structure, characteristics and realization of the asset management system which developed on the Struts framework. Based on the description of the principle and the whole developing process, it gave a whole overview of the system characteristic. This article describes the whole designing process of report system in an assets management system, it tells how to choose developing tools, how to find an adaptable system framework according to the developing platform and how to design report system using suitable report tools. Then it emphasizes the theory of Jasperreports and the configuration of its datesource and analyzes and extends original code of tools used by JasperReports report. and the layout design using Ireport. It mainly focused on the whole process of using Jasperreport technology to develop the report system which is based on the Struts framework in the J2EE platform.
