Motion control is such a kind of technology that integrated control technology with computer technology in order to achieve real time control of the moving motors. Motion control technology consists of trajectory planning and servo control technology. That is the intergration of computer technique, micro-electronics and control technology.Motion control system has the information processing ability, and highly opening, the precise trajectory control, and all-purpose ability, and so on. These advantagesmake this system have wide application potential.Motion control is one of the key technologies for SMT mounter. With the development of digital control technology and improving of SMT mounter in the industry, traditional motion system which used single-chip to control SMT equipment already can't be fit to new needs which are in the velocity and precision. This thesis designed embedded mounter motion control system,used the mode of "ARM+DSP motion controller", instead of the traditional mode of "PC+motion control card". It has the advantages, such as small size, low power consumption, Streamline functions and well motion controlling ability. Using the frequency and quantity of the output pulse generated by MCX314, the system controlled the velocity and angle displacement of step motor. Compared with the controlling means of PWM, this mode was operated simply, and controlled easily.The problems that this thesis mainly needs to deal with as follows,1,Analyzed the development and the status of the motion controlled technology and the embedded system.2,Analyzed six kinds of commonly used motion controlled plans, decided the design plan of ARM+DSP motion controller, and analyzed the respective achieving functions of ARM and motion controlled chips, and according to the work methods of the motion controlled chips, selected the structure of the driver circuits. 3,Completed the hardware circuit design of the embedded motion control system. And we divided the complex system into several subsystems which have relatively in dependence in their functions according to the ways of the design of modularization. Then we went on with the designs of the subsystems, such as the module of power supply, the module of memory, the module of the communication between the motion controller and the PC.4,Completed the software design of the embedded motion controlling system and put forward the scheme of software system design. On the basis of the subdivision of the structure and the function of the motion control system, designed the software controlling system of master and slave computer. In the entire software system, the master presided over the system management, it divided into three management modes, such as manual mode, programming mode and automatic mode. The slave control system contains position control subroutine, users compiling subroutine, interrupt subroutine, communication subroutine, and so on.5,The circuit of motion control system was debugged, and achieved our anticipative aim basically.
