Research And Application Of Enterprise Application Integration

Information Technology(IT) has become the foundation stone of survival and development for modern enterprise , IT runs through every process in modern enterprise's management such as stock,production,sale and so on . Due to many reasons , in the process of informatization , many departments of enterprise often faces the "information island" problem , which has difficulties in information sharing and business process sharing between different departments . This dissertation summarizes the process of development of Enterprise Application Integration(EAI) , and reveals the requirement of enterprise's informatization especially in electric power enterprises . After comparing the traditional method , this thesis puts forward general strategies for information system integration , and discusses the application of these strategies between electric power information systems.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the general character of information systems . In terms of the structure character of information systems , this thesis specifies the principle and implementation technique of EAI . Then this thesis puts forward a series of strategies of integration for different tiers of information systems , including Data Integration,Application Interface Integration,Interface Integration . Data Integration is used in data resource tier , it aims at sharing information between applications . This dissertation devises a method for Data Integration using data exchange technique , based on XML. In the application logical tier , we use Web Service as the integration technique for enterprise applications. For application , this dissertation specifies the using of these EAI strategies in electric power information systems , and illustrates the designing and implementation of Information Distribution and Integrated querying Platform , in which we describe the use of EAI strategies . At last, this thesis summarizes the advantages and challenges of Data Integration based on Data Exchange and Application Interface Integration based on Web Service .
