Research And Application Of Software Unit Test

With the arriving of the information age, the software technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, and software products have been playing an important role in various social fields. Meanwhile, the quality of the software product has become the focus which more and more people pay great attention to. The most effective way to solve the problems made by the quality of the software product is to make use of software test, among which, Unit Test (UT) is the most basic test.In this paper, the function is regarded as the smallest unit in the software project, and the relationship between the structure of framework and the model is analyzed. Then the CTest framework was given as an example for explaining the whole framework's composition, data structure and running process. In order to improving the efficiency of the UT and reducing the manual errors, the CTest framework is introduced to embedded platform and windows platform, and automation is implemented on both platforms above.The quality of the test case is the important factor to influence the efficiency of the software test, so the preparation of an excellent test case is significant. At the end of the paper, some methods of writing test case are given, which are based on the past experiences of developing software project and testing software products.
