Application Of Automated Unit Test Framework In Enterprise Software Development

Recently, with the rapid development of modern information technology, the wide application of computers in many industries such finance, aero-industry and communication industry, it brings more need of the performance and stability for software system. At the same time, the period of software development is becoming short but the software system is becoming more complex than ever. The quality of software under such pressure is key point for enterprises to achieve success.Software testing is an important way to assure the quality of software production. And unit test, the lowest layer of testing, is undoubtedly the most basic and important step in software testing. But how to do rapid and efficient unit test is always a big problem for software developers. Automated unit test framework has provided a manner to solve it. Adopting automated unit test framework can greatly decrease the time cost in unit test and improve the quality of software production so that it help to cut time of the whole develop lifecycle and reduce cost.In this paper, concepts and theories related with automated unit test frame are first discussed. Finally the practice of Automated Unit Test Framework applies in an enterprise software development is presented to show the feasibility of employing automated unit testing in enterprise software development lifecycle.
