| Nowadays, agroforestry, as an agricultural productive form for the sake of sustainable development, is playing a more and more important role to sufficiently use natural resources and increase productive benefit under the situation of farmland decreasing and resources shortage. However, people encountered a lot of difficulties when they were studied, analyzed and utilized agroforestry in practice in order to produce economic benefit because the agroforestry was categorized many types and consisted of many species and ecological factors, and therefore had different structures and attributes. The deepen exploration and study on agroforestry has brought new cognition that introducing dynamic models and computer simulation is necessary to effectively utilize agroforestry and serve for sustainable development.As an available tool to describe dynamic behaviors of a complex system, System Dynamics (SD) has exhibited its advantage in practices for long time. To explore an unknown complex system, the system managers are able to use SD to depict dynamic behaviors of the system of which the behaviors comprise apparent structural and hierarchical characteristic feature, and also the managers can identify the causal relation between state of the system and that of its components while the system is under operation, with such excellent properties people have made well achievements in application practice. This project, therefore, based on present achievements of agroforestry and principle of SD, takes the case of LiouAn's ecological environment to establish simulation model, and then, attempt to study how to simulate the regional agroforestry ecosystem of the LiouAn area through running the simulation model. The aim of the study is to obtain the elementary methods and experiences about agroforestry ecosystem simulation, and further more, deeply explore the aroforestry ecosystem simulation in order to get general study experiences. |
