Knowledge resource planning (KRP) is a knowledge-based system that implements knowledge share and interoperation based value engineering. The knowledge resources involved in enterprise business process are discovered and represented in the form of unified knowledge representation. Knowledge chain (KC) is organized by means of the integration of distributing knowledge resources based on XML and Agent technology. KC is the core of KRP. KC will guide and drive the actual business process.KRP consists of knowledge production and KC construction. Knowledge production is made up of knowledge representation, knowledge mining and knowledge storage. KC construction is involved in knowledge integration and KC operation.The unified knowledge represention is beneficial to knowledge share and interoperation. Knowledge discovered is represented based on XML and domain ontology method. As an instance, business process reengineering (BPR) is used to show its actual application.Data generalization is a kind of data model in knowledge mining. Fuzzy entropy and fuzzy modifying bayesian method are used to generalize the trouble diagnosis data in FMS.Knowledge storage offered a mechanism to store knowledge resources. The repository XML based is used to store less information. The knowledge component repository based on ALOAF is designed to store the knowledge component. Data warehouse technique is used to build a knowledge mining management model, which deals with the various knowledge minning objects and manage the versatile mining algorithm etc.KC is key to the integration of distributing knowledge resources. Based on XML and Agent technique, KC is organized to guide and carry out actual business process.Case based reasoning (CBR) is machine study method used to solve to client service sub-system in CRM. Case knowledge component is designed based on EJB. A solution project of client service sub-system is given and implemented based J2EE according to KRP.
