The Database Frame Research For Integrative Operation In The Planning Of Water Resources

Based on the special characters of water conservancy, it's the GIS and other IT technique that can actually improve the level of the planning of water resources. Along with the deeper using of GIS, it becomes more important that the research on the database related technique specialized in the water planning, which has affected GIS's potential utility. In this paper, we focus on the database technique research for the integrated operation of the water planning. First the standardization of the working procedure of water planning is optimized and made by idea of "BPR" (business process reengineering). Then the structure and standard template of the data which was specialized in water planning is established. In the end, the professional database frame has been build by the newest technique of spatial database technology. The problems requiring further studies are also discussed.
