Along with process of economic development, knowledge economy age is coming towards us rapidly. Knowledge management attracts attention gradually from every walk of life. Knowledge economy has become to be the mainstream of social development in 21 century. Knowledge management as a management method which could get the knowledge, save the knowledge, propagate the knowledge and share the knowledge has become the new management concepts and management methods. We have already come into the knowledge economy age. According to the huge improvement of science technology and network technology, surroundings of social competition get more and more complex, the number of information grows a lot, information technology develop rapidly, in this case, information service organizations in urgent need a new management mode to meet new requirements of development. Knowledge management has adapted to the requirement of knowledge economy which include knowledge innovation and knowledge sharing. Knowledge management advocates to unify the management of knowledge and human; knowledge management build a interactive bridge between information, information and human being. It forms a huge knowledge network to achieve the target of knowledge share, knowledge innovation, knowledge spread and knowledge multiplication.The information service organizations are typically knowledge-based enterprises, which serve for policy-making. Knowledge is their foundation, with which they can provide good services and make considerable profits, so the research and practice of knowledge management are particularly important for them. In other words, the key competitiveness of the information service organizations is gradually developed in the practice of knowledge management, and therefore the key is to implement knowledge management if the organizations want to create sustained competitive advantages. With the development of information technology and network technology and the advent of knowledge economy, the knowledge has become the main driving force of the economic and social development as well as the key resource of organizations. Information service organization should take full advantage of the external and internal knowledge to strengthen its competitive capacity. Therefore knowledge management information service organization is an inevitable choice to them.This paper proposes that information service organizations should change their management method and switch over from information management to knowledge management. This paper starts from the problem of information service organizations, and then shows the analysis of knowledge management process of information service organizations. Mode and countermeasure of knowledge management of information service organizations is proposed from these. Therefore, these things could give the new idea of development of knowledge management of information service organizations.The contents of this paper are shown blew:Chapter 1: The background, impact, the research status at home and abroad, contents and innovation of this paper are discussed.Chapter 2: This chapter shows the concept of knowledge management, the difference from information management to knowledge management and the basic knowledge of information service.Chapter 3: This chapter analyzes knowledge management problems of information service organizations in China through discussing the current situation of information service organizations in China. Motive and mechanism of the change from information service to knowledge service has been analyzed at mean while.Chapter 4: First of all, this chapter proposes how to find and gain the knowledge for information service organizations; second part is about how to arrange and save the knowledge for information service organizations; at last, how to innovation and use the knowledge is analyzed for information service organizations. Chapter 5: This chapter is about the mode and countermeasure of knowledge management of information service organizations in China. The mode of knowledge management of information service organizations is including two parts.Chapter 6: A case of has been studied in this chapter,Chapter 7: Conclusion and outlook.Innovations: First of all, this paper proposes the layer of knowledge; secondly, the mode of knowledge management of information service organizations in China has been constructed.
