According to the shortage of thermal analysis means for satellite antenna in our country at present, Developing the research of parametric thermal analysis technology for satellite antennas can shorten the design periods, save the cost, improve quality. lt is important to enhence the capacity of antenna structure design in theroy and applications.This paper describes the research status of thermal analysis technology and thermal analysis software for satellite antenna, introduce the space environment which space probe are running and the thermal analysis theoretics for satellite antenna, based on summarize the common problems, solutions and the transitive relationship between the parameters, the thermal analysis system for satellite antenna was put forward, the main function and hiberarchy of thermal analysis system was described. With the thermal analysis process for satellite antenna and characteristic of commercial analysis software, the whole frame of thermal analysis software which was divided into temperature analysis module and thermal distortion analysis module for satellite antenna was established. It also set down the principle of development for this system, introduce support software and develop tools.In the development of temperature analysis module, this paper has depth researched and compared the secondary development technology based on embedded mechanism and External development mechanism of I-DEAS. The software technic frame for temperature analysis module has been established with both mechanism.finally, parameterized temperature analysis platform for Atro-mesh satellite antenna is developed by C++Builder and the key technology to achieve this platform has been introduced.In the development of thermal distortion analysis module, this paper has introduce and discuss three develop tools APDL, UIDL and UPFs based on ANSYS. The software technic frame for thermal distortion analysis module has been established with APDL language and batch model of ANSYS. Finally, the thermal distortion platform for Atro-mesh satellite antenna is developed by C++Builder and the key technology to achieve this platform has been introduced.The research of parametric thermal analysis technology for satellite antenna in this paper will have practical significance to engineering design.
