Solution On The Merging Of DDN And ATM Networks Of Shaanxi Telecom

In recent years, with the partition of posts and telecommunications services, divestiture of China mobile, establishment of CNC and reconstruction of Chine telecom, China communication market is becoming more and more complex and the competition among operators is very fierce. The group clients, who adopt DDN operation for their network, are the focus in competition. From the beginning, DDN operation in Shaanxi province has showed a good development tendency. Almost all the finance systems and main group clients are using DDN to operate their work on net, such as insurance agent,post, stock exchange, police, tax bureau, civicism, and so on.To provide strong support for group clients, the province company decided to converge DDN and ATM network to provide a better optimized and organized network based on the reality condition of DDN network,group company advices, experience of experimental units in other provinces, and technical feasibility reports and data investigations.This thesis researches the feasibility and concrete implement project of DDN and ATM syncretism. Based on the researches on DDN and ATM technology and thies research trends, this thesianalyses the problems occurred during DDN net operation and provides corresponding solutions .Through the analysis of scheme feasibility, a sheme based on the converge of DDN and ATM is proposed. The implementation of this scheme shows that it succefully solve the problems exsited.The operation of Shaanxi telecommunication network demonstrates the scheme is of good performance.
